New year for Mars Building Ltd

It’s 2017 and Mars Building Ltd is pushing ahead, last year we had the wonderful experience of working on BBC 1’s DIY SOS and made some great new friends, but more importantly helped a really deserving family, who are now really enjoying their new home and new life together!!
The show should be aired in the early part of this year.
We also completed a new build three bedroom house in Hatfield for very happy clients who have just enjoyed their first Christmas in their new home.
We have quoted for new build, extension and loft projects in St. Ablbans, Harpenden, Welwyn as we cover most of Hertfordshire and are always happy to price and advise clients on new build, extensions, loft conversions or new kitchens in Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.
We are in the middle of a large extension/alteration in St. Albans and have just a few bits to finish off on an unusual build in Digswell. This involved underpinning and extensive groundworks to produce a contemporary extension split over two levels with structural glass to connect the buildings and a glass covered stair way. The landscaping was also pretty major, having to excavate and clear 50 tons of muck away and lay approximately 250msq of new lawn.

This year we are going to be pushing ahead with our underpinning and basement excavation, in the past couple of years we have completed numerous basements and carried out underpinning for extensions to be added or where required due to subsidence.
